Question 1

Why am I not seeing new profiles?

Accepted Answer

This usually happens when too many filters are selected. The more filters you add, the fewer profiles you will see, and you may also receive fewer or no new profile notifications. We recommend using only these filters to start: country, state, specific location, minimum age, and maximum age. Using mainly age and location will help you see more profiles.

Question 2

Why am I not receiving new profile notifications?

Accepted Answer

Your new profile notifications follow the filters you have selected. If your filters are very specific, you may not receive notifications for many new profiles. Try reducing your filters to country, state, location, minimum age, and maximum age so you can receive more relevant profile notifications.

Question 3

Can Nisf give me someone's phone number?

Accepted Answer

No. Nisf customer support cannot share another user's phone number directly. Depending on the user's privacy settings, you may be able to see their number by opening their profile, sending a request, or after your request is accepted. Please check the profile and follow the applicable process.

Question 4

How can I log in as a Wali?

Accepted Answer

If you are a father, brother, or another Wali managing a woman's Nisf account, use the "Sign in as Wali" option. Enter the same phone number that was added as the Wali's phone number in the woman's account. You will receive an OTP and can then access the account. Please do not create a separate profile using your own email - this can create duplicate profiles and may result in one of them being deactivated.

Question 5

Who can be a Wali?

Accepted Answer

For a woman, the Wali follows this order of priority: Her father; A person appointed by her father through his will; Her paternal grandfather and his ascendants; Her son, followed by his sons; Her full brother; Her paternal half-brother; The sons of her full brother; The sons of her paternal half-brother; Her father's full brother; Her father's paternal half-brother; The sons of her paternal uncles; If none of these are available, a Muslim ruler or Qadi may serve as the Wali.

Question 22

Can I involve my wali or family?

Accepted Answer

What happens after I find a suitable match?

Accepted Answer

Once a connection request is accepted, the brother and wali receive the relevant contact details. They can then communicate and take the marriage process forward with family involvement.

Accepted Answer

Your name, phone number, and wali's details are not shown on your profile or to other users.
