Kerala Muslim Matrimony, the Islamic way

Nisf is a Muslim matrimony app made in Kerala, by Malayali Muslims, for families who want a nikah arranged through the wali. A sister's wali is verified before any brother can approach her, and when both sides say yes, it is the wali and the brother who exchange numbers, not two strangers.

You search with filters for what matters to you - deen and practice, family, education, work - and send a request to a profile that fits. There is no directory to scroll, no open chat and nothing to swipe. Sisters upload no photos at all, so a proposal is weighed on deen, character and what each person is looking for. Somebody who came to pass time finds nothing here and leaves, which is exactly what it was built to do.

All of that is deliberate. A nikah is arranged between two families, so Nisf carries a request only as far as the wali, keeps a sister's privacy until there is a reason for the families to talk, and leaves the conversation itself to them.

The result is Islamic matrimony that a father, a mother or an ustadh can look at and approve of, and that a practising brother or sister can use without setting their values aside.
